Planned Giving

Planned giving provides a way for Vancouver Men’s Chorus supporters to ensure the future of the Chorus in their estate plans.

In addition to creating a future legacy, planned giving may provide the donor with significant tax benefits. There are a number of ways to include the VMC in your estate. Some of the more common ones are:

  • will bequests
  • life income gifts
  • gifts of property

Your financial planner can help you determine what options might be best for you.

A lawyer or notary public can provide invaluable assistance to you when you are preparing your will. To assist in the drafting of your will and providing a gift to the Vancouver Men’s Chorus, following text is suggested for inclusion in your will:

“I give to The Vancouver Men’s Chorus, 1945 McLean Drive, Vancouver, B.C. V5N 3J7, federal charitable registration number 11926 1154 RR0001, (the sum of …) or (… percent of the residue of my Estate).”
