Other Events
We perform two main stage concerts each year in December (Making Spirits Bright) and a Spring concert in May or June.
We perform throughout the year in a variety of settings and venues. From time to time, we collaborate with other choirs: local, regional, and international. We also lend our voices in support of community events including the annual AIDS Walk for Life.

AIDS Walk For Life
The VMC once again provided musical encouragement to the hundreds of walkers that participated in the AIDS WALK for LIFE on Sunday September 18, 2011. Thank you for everyone’s support in making the walk such a success! So far it has raised $257,464 (and counting) and it is still not too late to make a donation.

Singing a varied repertoire including music from our upcoming Making Spirits Bright concert, all proceeds from the concert went towards the WPGUC Sock Project providing over 3000 pairs of socks to people in need in the downtown east side.

The Big Christmas Sing!
Join us for an afternoon of mirth, merriment and singing too! There will be lots of familiar songs – in fact all the old-time favourites are on the list. So, come one, come all, on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 2:30 pm and sing away a few hours on a dull Saturday afternoon, making some new memories to store away for Christmases yet to come.

It Gets Better Project
In September 2010, syndicated columnist and author Dan Savage created a YouTube video with his partner Terry to inspire hope for young people facing harassment. On February 28, 2011, the VMC contributed our own story to the It Gets Better Project.

Big Gay Sing
