Brought to you live and in living colour, the Vancouver Men’s Chorus sings Making Spirits Bright 2011 – The Screen Edition, December 8, 10, 11, and 12. The sound stage at Jervis and Pendrell Streets resounds with television and movie holiday favourites from animated cartoons, televised Christmas specials and the silver screen itself!
Join your friends in our studio audience for this VMC Holiday Special, complete with a parade of Santa’s toys and a Sound of Music extravaganza that is not to be missed! Your VMC show host brings you up close and personal with a cast of 85 men as they touch on sentimental chords from classic holiday special performers such as Andy Williams and Karen Carpenter, and bust out with musical treats by screen giants John Williams, Vince Guaraldi, Irving Berlin, and Johnny Marks.
Get your tickets early for this sell out event! Evening performances start at 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, Saturday, December 10, Sunday, December 11, and Monday, December 12; a matinee performance begins at 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon, December 11. Tickets for Making Spirits Bright are once again $30/General Admission and $80/Reserved Patron Seating (includes $50 tax receiptable donation). All performances are at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1130 Jervis Street (at Pendrell).
