Mainstage Concert Season

We perform two main stage concerts each year in December (Making Spirits Bright) and a Spring concert in May or June. We also perform a Pride event called The Big Gay Sing that draws all the divas out of the closet for a fun filled post parade gay singing event.

We also perform throughout the year in a variety of settings and venues. From time to time, we collaborate with other choirs: local, regional, and international. We also lend our voices in support of community events including the annual AIDS Walk for Life.

Making Spirits Bright – The Screen Edition!

Brought to you live and in living colour, the Vancouver Men’s Chorus sings Making Spirits Bright – The Screen Edition! The sound stage at Jervis and Pendrell Streets resounds with television and movie holiday favourites from animated cartoons, televised Christmas specials and the silver screen itself!

Performances December 8, 10, 11, 12, 2011 at 8pm and December 11, 2011 at 3pm.

Queens!

We are amused! Queens are an inspiration. From the English queens Elton John and Freddie Mercury to The Village People and Streisand’s “Queen Bee”, queens of all bust sizes have driven us to lip-synch, sing along, and tap our stilettos to some of the most memorable music of the recent past. Join the VMC and get to know our extended royal family.

Building on the renown of the queens who surround us, the VMC salutes regal fabulousness in all its glory – past, present, and future. Come — touch base with your inner queen and rediscover your own royal blood.

Performances May 10, 11, 12 & 13, 2012 at 8pm at Performance Works on Granville Island.
