Community Outreach Concert
Each year, the VMC performs community outreach concerts, usually in the Vancouver area. This allows us to reach out to audiences and communities farther from Vancouver, but still relatively close by.
Typically, we perform a community outreach concert in November. It consists of mixed repertoire drawn from our upcoming Making Spirits Bright concert.
Recent community outreach concerts included the following communities:
- Making Spirits Bright - Nanaimo - Dec. 2009
- Victoria, Nanaimo, and Kelowna - spring 2008
- Port Coquitlam, 2008
- Surrey, 2007
- Saltspring Island, 2006
- Victoria, 2005
Our small ensemble, Synergy, often accepts performance invitations at community events.
